I think that it deserves more than a 2.8. From the outside I was a little skeptical but they are working on it. When I went in the office she explained that she was doing a lot of renovating. And the work is getting done. So I went and looked at one of the rooms and I was floored. The laminate hardwood floors are absolutely beautiful. I'm so glad there is no carpet. I pay attention to little things so when I saw the refrigerator was a mini refrigerator with a separate freezer on top, I was very happy. GREAT FEATURE. They have great water pressure, very clean bathroom, a huge countertop for the sink not just a little vanity. I was given a littlebit of leeway which I like. I am able to rearrange to my liking and we are able to cook in the room which is saving me a lot of money. Basically it is my own apartment. It does not feel like a motel. The walls are a soothing blue not to mention it's very spacious in here. This hotel room has 90% of my expectations of what I was looking for. I say that because they're still renovating the downstairs rooms and I would much rather have a room downstairs but everything else is absolutely perfect for me. The manager is very strict about the rules and the people that used to be here years ago are no longer here. the way things are now, the readings should be at least a 4.0 This place has improved tremendously. I would also like to mention that the lady in the office, Joe, is extremely kind and so are the maids the maintenance man and some of the neighbors that I've met so far. I really don't have anything bad to say about this place. She has come a long way to make this place a better living environment. If I had listened to the ratingsthat were mostly not true, I would not have discovered this diamond in the rough!

Love the staff. Difficult living in Motel but I was made to feel welcome and cared about since moving in!

Joe, Belinda, Tony, David and Larry; yes I know all the employees by name. The short amount of time that I have stayed there these people have made me feel like family. In the meantime, this is my home away from home and I definitely feel at home I'm very well looked after by the staff. I have stayed at similar lodging accommodations in other states for twice the price and the staff here goes above and beyond to make sure that I absolutely feel extreme value for what I pay. I'm very impressed with management and staff and I have never had a problem here. I am a single woman who works late hours and I come and go feeling extremely safe. In my opinion, if there are any bad reviews that they are probably written by bad people. I highly recommend this establishment if they have rooms available because they are usually fully booked due to their demand and reputation.

It was very nice and clean. The employees were very friendly and there were clean linens put out.

A great place to to lay back staff is friendly and helpful. Will take care of most anything

It's a bit pricey for what you get but the hospitality of the staff is wonderful.

The front desk Jennifer is a sweet heart she will break her neck for you she is very respectful.. She makes sure we go first and if there is a problem in the rooms she is happy to fix it.. She goes above and beyond her job.. And if she was here all the time I would stay more.. I think she deserves manger position.. Go ahead Jennifer ..

I thought this was going to be a bad places but it's not. The staffs are wonderful. The only downfall that kept me from putting a five star is that they didn't have what other Hotel provides like for example a coffee maker and TV yes I know they are remodeling and as soon as the remodels are done I will come back and put a 5 but one more thing they aren't remodeling fast enough bless there heart they just need more help
